Our June production is the wild French restoration comedy Truffles and Nougat, by Brad Stephenson. On a beautiful spring day in 1815, candies and political unrest in Paris make their way into the French countryside. With Napoleonic police at the door, the dysfunctional LeFevre household must come to terms with secret motives, old lies, new lust, and lots of chocolate in this fast-paced French farce. Brad Stephenson, a recent PhD in Theatre at Mizzou, now works at Catawba College in North Carolina. He'll be here for the first week of the show!
Directed by Aaron Scully, and featuring Brandi Campbell, Craig Yager, Nora Dietzel, Brett Bullard, Sarah Jost, Mary Shaw, Daniel Jordan, and Bill Baer.
Tickets for Truffles and Nougat will be $13 for adults and $11 for seniors 65+ and students. The show runs June 10-12 and again June 17-19. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30, and Sunday matinees are at 2:00. The house and box office open 30 minutes prior to performance times.
