Starting Gate New Play Festival 2016

Now in its second year, the Starting Gate New Play Festival celebrates the craft of playwrighting by staging six 10-minute plays written by three talented writers. This year's playwrights, Monica Hand, Kate Berneking Kogut, and Aaron Scully, worked with the dialectic of FEAST/FAMINE. The final results are six wonderfully diverse plays, some comedy and some drama, that are highly entertaining! The playwrights secured local directors for their projects, and local actors are working with the playwrights and directors to create a terrific festival of fun!

Tickets are $8, and are available online at www.talkinghorseproductions.org or by calling 573-268-1381. Available seats will also be sold before performances at the box office. Performances on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12 are at 7:30PM; the Sunday performance will be at 2:00PM. The house and box office will open approximately 30 minutes before performance times.
