Dad's an architect; Mom rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal; their daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens, appeearing to be a typical American family. And yet their lives are anything but normal, because the mother has been battling manic depression for sixteen years.
NEXT TO NORMAL takes audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family's story with love, sympathy and heart. Winner of three 2009 Tony Awards including Best Musical Score and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for drama.
Talking Horse Productions will run this show for three weekends: April 17-19, April 24-26, and May 1-3. Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30pm; Sunday performances will begin at 2:00pm. The box office and house will open thirty minutes prior to performance times.
